It’s been said that life is a journey not a destination, but the world is changing quickly and getting smaller by the day. Sometimes we just need some to walk with us through the rough patches. I work in partnership with clients as they are setting out or changing course. I have 20 years’ experience as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and have worked with many cultures, social, LGBTQ+ and family dynamics. My specialties include mood disorders, trauma, women’s needs, domestic violence, grief/loss, relationship trials, spiritual transitions, children and adolescents and supporting parents, empty nesters, caregiver fatigue. My approach is very holistic, and solution focused. I utilize modalities that are in line with the client's value system and balance within the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual parts of an individual. Therapy includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Client Centered, and Mindfulness techniques.
