Angela Shields

Over the past twelve years, I have been working in the mental health and wellness field. I enjoy working with clients to help create a space for safety, skill building, and one where we create solutions together. I work well with couples and individuals. I treat trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, and self-confidence/self-esteem issues. I love bringing all of my training together to create a unique experience of therapeutic change for you and your family. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is an evidence based and highly effective trauma treatment. I am also Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1 trained. In addition, I use Internal Family System (IFS) which consists of working with parts of self and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also offer adventure therapy. I utilize hiking and rock climbing as tools in the process of growth and healing.
