My therapy style is based on three principles: Awareness, Discovery, and Integration. I approach my clients holistically. My intention is to explore their troubles without judgment or a specific agenda. I believe that the problem always contains the seeds of its own resolution, and I trust my clients to know what is ultimately best for them. My clients do well in therapy when they practice curiosity, patience, and friendliness towards their own troubles. Over the years I have tended to focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addictions, trauma, and relationship issues. My specialty is in teaching clients attitudes necessary to helping themselves and overcome their psychological and emotional blockages. With these attitudes and a commitment to regular therapy attendance I have been able to provide relief from depression, addictions, anxiety, trauma, and relationship problems. I am certified to teach Kundalini Yoga, a powerful and therapeutic practice that combines breath with movement while holding a mental focus. Kundalini Yoga can be used to address a variety of psychological issues, ranging from depression to addiction. Practicing yoga while doing therapy often accelerates the client's progress.
