I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have experience working with individuals with behavioral disorders, mild depression, anxiety, and behavioral concerns, as well as with those looking for parenting skills and coping skills. It is my goal and responsibility to ensure and foster emotional and cognitive growth to clients and their families. Through a collaborative effort, we will work to explore and define present problems with client situations, develop future goals, personally and emotionally, and achieve success and personal fulfillment. Every person has untapped strength and there is power in families. The counseling relationship for which I strive is to create an environment that provides empathy and encouragement. We will work together to achieve your goals to help you become your best self. I employ many techniques in order to best meet my client's needs. I typically approach counseling from a cognitive-behavioral perspective. I try to focus on patterns of thoughts and actions in order to better understand the client's concerns and to develop solutions.
