As you browse profiles looking for the right therapist, you will find many leading with their degrees, training and hopes that they have just the right 'cure' for what you're facing. I look at therapy and being a therapist slightly different. I don't want to imply or assume that I know more about being you than you do. I don't want to imply or assume that I know what's right or best for you. You already have that information and knowledge. My job is to help you uncover it. With that as our goal, my job is to hold space for you. To hold space is to walk with you non-judgmentally and support you. It is to come alongside you wherever you're at and either find a solution or make one. Whatever it is, we'll do it at your pace and in your time.
