I am a client-centered, strength-based licensed professional counselor with 20+ years of experience. I provide an individual approach to therapy based on your unique needs and partner with you to 1) determine desired outcomes, 2) identify what is standing in your way and 3) develop specific strategies for successful change. Because good psychotherapy puts you and your concerns at the center stage of a counseling relationship, you have the opportunity to talk about yourself, explore your own feelings and life experiences and come to understand your patterns of behavior. My specialty areas include, eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and identity. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing which is a technique to help those dealing with trauma, grief, and loss. My techniques work best with individuals who are actively engaged in therapy and have a strong desire to move forward.
