Marcus Teissedre

All the way from the desert planes of Arizona, I have made my home in the city of Reno for the past 10+ years. I fell in love with the four season aesthetic as I acquired both my Bachelor's and Master's of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno. Outside of treatment, I have two other jobs including teaching part time at my alma mater and volunteering at my local Teamsters union supporting people within the labor movement. Outside of work, if I am not fighting off dragons with my friends in D&D, I am either going through old cookbooks refining my chef skills or sipping tea with my family in the backyard gazing at the stars. Most of my foundational experience was in behaviorist approaches such as CBT and DBT. In recent years, my professional development has led me to explore person-centered interventions such as IFS. In addition to new perspectives, I always fall back to EMDR in navigating trauma. If any of the above profile speaks to you, I encourage you to give me a call!
