I seek to empower each client's unique movement towards emotional and physical well-being, mindfulness, wholeness and spiritual awareness. Through encouragement, compassion and mutual respect this co-creative therapeutic process enhances each person's self-esteem, potential and growth. Together we will explore possibilities and new directions, thereby releasing stress, inner conflicts, dis-ease, self-defeating cognitions and dysfunctional relationships. Embracing change leads to feelings of joy, aliveness and at the same time peacefulness and calm. I counsel individuals (Adults 18 years old to the elder years)and couples dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, phobias, trauma, incest, abuse (PTSD), chronic illness, pain, as well as relationship, parenting, existential, co-dependency and Adult Children of Alcoholic issues - separation, divorce, attachment, complicated loss and grief. My treatment modalities include cognitive/behavioral and brief solution-focused methods. This therapeutic process also includes insight oriented and attachment psychotherapy, trauma, abuse, incest (PTSD)and inner child work, ACOA and co-dependency issues. I have advanced training in CBT, EMDR, hypnotherapy, psychodrama and Adlerian Psychology.
