Anna Skardoutos

When meeting with a client, I take great pride in working as a team to process trauma, increase self-worth, and develop new and appropriate coping skills to reach therapeutic and life goals in a safe and positive way. I enjoy experiencing the growth of a therapeutic relationship, and providing a comfortable, friendly, safe environment to assist clients in learning to survive and thrive through difficult times, and make changes in their lives that they are proud of. I utilize evidence and strength-based therapeutic practices, while also using mindfulness techniques to assist my clients. I work with individuals experiencing a variety of issues, including grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions and cancer/chronic illness. I have been working directly with cancer survivors for eight years I consider the opportunity to be a supporter, a sounding board, an educator, and a caring, warm therapist a gift, and believe that every client is unique and deserves a personalized experience. I respect and honor each of my clients, and work hard to develop a safe, fun environment that allows clients to grow and meet their goals.
