After 20 years of behavioral research, and a fresh perspective on psychological phenomena stemming from my background as NASA scientist, university professor, financial executive, mathematician, and software engineer, I developed Message-Centered Psychology that explains interpersonal communication and leads to highly effective therapeutic methods. Building on this work, I founded the Advanced Psychology Institute – where I serve as Clinical Director – dedicated to clinical practice, education and training, collaborative approaches to therapy, and research on, among other topics, interpersonal communication, emotions, personality disorders, and psychological applications of artificial intelligence.
