No matter the conditions, clients who experience the greatest benefit from counseling are the ones who come prepared to learn and grow. Anyone who steps into my office with such an eagerness will also leave having gained something. I am not fixed on any one specific method and adapt my approach based on client need and personality. In addition to counseling, I also offer psychological and educational evaluations. Testing covers a range of ADHD, learning disability, psychological, educational, neurocognitive, and functional capacity evaluations. Thoughts and emotions are not symptoms to be gotten rid of; rather, they are normal and natural parts of human life... that can sometimes become harmful. My goal is to create more effective ways of relating to these experiences. I follow ACT and other mindfulness philosophies while also building a strong working relationship as the mechanism of change. My primary goal is to facilitate growth and learning (or a quality evaluation report).
