Coming to therapy is an act of bravery and you can feel good about taking the first step! Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, a life transition, relationship difficulties, trauma or other problems, we can work on them together. I view therapy sessions as your time – you set the agenda by talking about what feels important to you. I provide individual therapy to adults and adolescents and practice from a multiculturally-informed, LGBTQAI-allied and sex-positive stance. You can count on me to be genuine, warm, non-judgmental and curious. My role will constantly shift in response to you. At times, I will listen, ask questions, invite you to dig deeper into what emotions you’re experiencing, and work with you to make connections between how past experiences are influencing you in the present to help you get unstuck. What makes therapy with me unique is my focus on emotions. Whether you're overwhelmed by anxiety, sadness, anger, fear or are concerned about feeling numb, there is a lot of wisdom in your emotions and I will work with you to process the meanings behind them.
