I offer psychoanalytic therapy to people across the lifespan. This kind of treatment seeks to cultivate emotional wisdom by allowing opportunities to explore one's mind and understand one's lived experience. Emotional difficulties can arise for a variety of reasons including but not limited to trauma, loss, painful situations, and oppressive systems. Through learning about ourselves and becoming aware of our personal strengths and vulnerabilities, changes can be made to the way we interact with the world, ourselves, and others. This important work is done from a therapeutic relationship anchored in empathy, collaboration, and care. In addition to providing therapy, I am training to be a psychoanalyst and welcome inquiries for psychoanalysis. Psychoanalysis involves meeting more frequently which can allow for an immersive experience used to further illuminate the origins of emotional difficulties, relive and rework relationship dynamics, and experience psychological growth.
