As a dedicated and enthusiastic pre-licensed associate counselor, I specialize in helping young individuals and families navigate challenges such as trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and social skills development. It is my passion to empower children in a warm, engaging, and supportive environment where they can build self-esteem, develop coping strategies, and strengthen resilience through various therapeutic modalities. I recently completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with emphasis in Trauma and Adolescent Disorders. In addition to my clinical training, I have over ten years of experience as a first-grade teacher and academic and behavior interventionist, as well as hold a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education. I continue to work closely with families and children impacted by violence and abuse through my involvement with local domestic violence and child abuse shelters, where I provide compassionate support and trauma-informed care. “Strength doesn’t come from what you can do.
