Compassion. Insight. Empowerment. I strive to make counseling an approachable experience through genuine support, compassionate guidance, warmth, and humor. I believe psychotherapy is a therapeutic partnership between client and therapist; that listening, understanding and respecting each patient's unique story is necessary for bringing about positive change. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. My goal is to help clients recognize and change counterproductive patterns in their lives and learn skills that can lead to a more fulfilling, peaceful, and rewarding life. My focus includes anxiety, depression, parenting issues, relationship issues, family stressors, trauma, & grief and loss. I believe that within each of us, we have inner strengths and capabilities that we may not be aware of. My hope is to help you discover these strengths, learn new skills, increase awareness and create meaningful change.. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 10 years in the business world of advertising and marketing. I also enjoy working with professionals around issues including: growth, achievement, maintaining work-life balance. I am a wife, mother of 4 and a major proponent of the health benefits of exercise and healthy diet. I look forward to working with you.
