Managing mental and behavioral health can be difficult. Everyone deserves to be heard and understand how behaviors impact overall health and well being. Too often families are left with questions once a diagnosis of a mental or behavioral health condition is given. What is needed is someone who can help explain things, provide medications and recommend or order treatments, or refer to the proper supports. Some one who understands the struggles and with whom you can talk over the most difficult things. For over 30 years Dr. Moen has specialized in behavioral health and medication management for neurodiverse children and their families, and for those with anxiety, depression, adoption, FASD, ADHD and disruptive behaviors; providing guidance with school, behavioral management, medications, and collaboration with other members of the health care team. The foundation of Dr Moen's practice is compassionate collaborative care for children, teens, and young adults. She is a strong advocate for her patients and a resource for families and other care providers. She "gets it". Dr. Moen does not provide neuropsychiatric testing, therapy, or diagnoses for neuropsychiatric disorders.
