When we invest in the process of self-inquiry we expand our capacity for living an authentic life. Having a supportive and nonjudgmental environment in which to do this can make all the difference. Holding space for my client's exploration is a privilege, therefore, the therapeutic relationship is based on respect, presence, and at times, the challenge of finding answers to difficult questions. I believe our earliest experiences are stored in our bodies and influence our beliefs and behaviors, thus, find value in exploring the mind-body connection and nervous system responses. I find it beneficial to look at how overarching systems influence our lives, as we are interconnected and interdependent in family, community, friendship and career. It takes courage to get to know oneself more deeply and find contentment and joy in that knowing. I have reverence for the human experience and know how much vulnerability it takes to get started on this journey. It’s hard work and definitely worth the investment!
