About Erica

I am a clinical social worker, practicing since 1993, and have accumulated a breadth of professional experience working with children, adolescents, and adults through various stages of life. My approach is warm, engaging, collaborative and positive, with an initial goal of developing a trusting and supportive connection. Together, we will then create a treatment strategy that is tailored to you. Regardless of the approach, I strive to create a safe space that invites honesty, insight, creativity and even humor. If you are interested in exploring the possibility of therapy, I welcome the opportunity to offer my assistance. My specialties include anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, panic, depression, stress management, parenting, adjustment to illness, bereavement, self-esteem, family communication and life transitions. I use a combination of therapeutic approaches, primarily relying on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory and family systems theory.
