Life often throws us lemons. It is my goal to aid you in placing those lemons into cute vases and use them as decor. We can’t turn things into something they’re not, but we can re-frame them and change their meaning. I will work with you to help them build on your strengths to identify and achieve your goals. Therapy should be a space where you can talk and gain insight into what’s going on in your life and how you want to proceed. In therapy I draw on styles and techniques that are the helpful for your individual situation, providing a space where you have the authority and ability to grow in the direction you choose. I have special training (EMDR) in working with trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, and relational issues. I understand how life altering experiences can lead to disruptions in your daily life. My therapy approach is strength-based; with you I will design and tailor individual sessions to help you reach your optimal potential and heal your emotional wounds.
