About David

I believe in everyone’s innate goodness while acknowledging that our complicated personal stories often block attempts to understand ourselves and others. I provide a safe space for people from all backgrounds, religions, and perspectives - a place to journey toward physical, emotional, and spiritual health and wholeness. I work with individuals, couples, and friends going through life transitions, managing anxiety and depression, exploring vocational changes, and processing adverse religious experiences. Other areas of special focus include parenting, infertility challenges, the adoption process, and friendship counseling. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. I also hold a MA in Religion (Westminster Theological Seminary) and a BS in Art Education (University of Georgia). I'm trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and utilize aspects of Internal Family Systems Therapy. Life is complicated, therapy doesn't have to be. Call or email if you'd like to schedule a ten-minute call to see if working together might help.
