Christina Shoemaker

I provide individual and group therapy for children and adolescents as well as adults and families specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavior modification. I also specialize in substance use, working with those impacted by their own drug and alcohol use as well as those impacted by the addiction of others. My ability to make connections and build trust is paramount to my success as a therapist and, more importantly, the forward movement of the children and families with whom I work. With over 30 years of experience as an educator and counselor I have worked with families and children with varying concerns in a variety of settings. I am a professional member of the American Counseling Association and the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association.
