Are you looking to support your child who is struggling with feelings of anxiety, managing intense emotions, adjusting to blended family issues, or dealing with school concerns? When your child's needs surpass your capacity, finding the right helper who can provide the right support is necessary. Helping struggling kids and families is my passion! I help children through a play therapy model which helps them learn how to express their thoughts and feelings appropriately, increases their self-esteem, increases their self-regulation, and they ultimately learn to accept responsibility for their behavior. To me, a safe therapeutic relationship is the most valuable aspect of counseling and where growth happens! I use play therapy to help a child identify and express feelings and develop healthy coping skills. I also offer parenting support by sharing strategies to influence behavioral change. Either approach starts by first creating a safe environment. If you are longing to give your child the tools they need to thrive, it would be my privilege to help. I help my young clients build resilience and improve their emotional wellness, and help parents grow in understanding their child's emotional needs.
