Balfour Therapy

Hi! I’m an inter-section theorist. I’m a mixed race person. I come from a social justice lens and work from a diversity, race, cultural and also non-binary foundation. I work with all ages, individuals, families and couples. I treat anxiety & depression, behavior/defiance issues, offer parenting support, holistic health, nutrition planning, eating disorders, chemical dependency, intelligence/gifted/sensitivity issues, and personality disorders. I have experience in attachment/adoption and autism in women. I have an efficient, compassionate approach and sense of humor. I’m passionate and interested in your story. Formerly a ballet director, I became exposed to Eating disorders, nutrition and body issues. But I use gender and race theory in this work. I’m trained and have personal experience in the area of attachment. I have years of professional and personal experience in areas of race and gender intersections. I center the people. I support the variety of shifting challenges clients are facing. I have a holistic body + mind approach. I'm creative and resourceful, and focus on radical joy, strengths and processing trauma (individual and systemic). I am a champion for those I serve, and support efforts to impact change on an individual, community and macro level.
