Amber Banta

I enjoy working with adult clients who are navigating live transitions and adjusting to new identities, whether in relationship to self, their support system and family, or their environment. I primarily work with clients between the ages of 18-35 including college students, individuals navigating life post-grad, and maternal mental health. I also provide therapeutic support for graduate students in the fields of counseling and social work who are looking to process their lived experience alongside their academics and future role as a helper. I work with clients to determine their therapeutic goals and draw upon techniques from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, IFS, EMDR, Narrative and experiential modalities. I engage my clients through trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered approaches while integrating mindfulness and somatic practices.
