My favorite type of clients are ones that have been working hard, trying to be perfect, and realize they have been ignoring their own feelings. I work with high achieving adults who want to make changes. Maybe you deal with anxiety, depression, old hurts or current stressors and self-care is a complete unknown to you. I work with parents struggling with parenting anxiety, feeling bad or worried about the ways your children are affected by your home life. And I work with adolescents who are very capable, but are frozen by anxiety. I create a comfortable relationship so you can safely challenge your feelings and thoughts and then make changes. I often give assignments to work on between sessions. I also perform diagnostic interviews and evaluations for ADHD, anxiety and depression and make long-term treatment recommendations if needed. Occasionally I have openings for new clients, please feel free to reach out via text (easiest way for me to respond). I am moving to a new location by Parkville on August 1. I can offer referrals to a very experienced therapist (she is also a great person) that is available for immediate scheduling.
