As a Board Certified Clinical Psychologist, I have expertise in the treatment of survivors of adversity and unforeseen life events. For some of us, life is often unpredictable and certain experiences may throw us off balance. Yet for others, life seems to have been difficult and unmanageable since the beginning and getting on track has been unmet despite the desperation and effort. If you have accepted the need to "make a change", you may consider reaching out to me as an objective and nonjudgemental professional who can support and guide you towards building a life that you experience as "worth living"; whatever that may look like. I have extensive training and experience in the treatment of trauma-related conditions and dissociation, mood disorders, eating disorders, and substance use. I am a firm believer in the importance of the human connection in psychotherapy and building a treatment alliance that transcends dependency and fosters growth. Though rooted in a humanistic approach to psychotherapy, I am also trained and certified in several Evidence-Based Treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT), prolonged exposure (PE), EMDR and Cognitive Behavior therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
