Lisa Berryman

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients virtually and in my office at Enlightened Mental Health in Lafayette, IN. I have a passion for working with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health struggles including depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, grief, and personality disorders. My aim is to empower my clients to connect with their innate ability to heal through self-love and compassion in order to make lasting change. My post-graduate training has been in practicing evidenced-based therapy models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing Therapy. My role is to guide you through exploring and understanding your emotions and behavior through a lense of compassion in order to facilitate change. I know struggling with mental illness is overwhelming, and reaching out to initiate therapy can feel next to impossible when we are already struggling to function. It is normal to feel anxious and uncertain of what to talk about. I want to assure you that I am here to support your needs, and I have no expectations for "performance" in therapy.
