Part of the decision to start therapy is the decision to enter into a trusting relationship. The relationship and trust between therapist and client is the basis of healing. I work collaboratively with clients to help define and meet treatment goals in a non-judgmental, kind and relaxed environment. When life feels overwhelming and decision making becomes difficult, finding a safe place to explore your feelings can be the first step towards a happy and balanced life. I love my work and feel privileged to be able to share the journeys of my clients. I work with both individuals and couples to help them with issues that include trauma, codependency, healthy relationship and communication work, depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, domestic abuse, substance abuse and recovery, finding purpose, and low self esteem. I also provide supervision for social workers and EMDR clinicians seeking licensure. I am a certified EMDR therapist and EMDR Approved Consultant, and also have training in Gestalt therapy, Ego State Therapy, Mindfulness, AEDP Level One and Family systems therapy.
