John R Saksa

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 15 years of experience at Yale University School of Medicine where I had taught, practiced, and supervised the delivery of science-based psychotherapy. In my current practice, I will do my very best to provide you with the most current and effective treatments for your condition by using the same strategies that I taught when on the faculty at Yale. Although I will use well proven strategies and techniques, my singular focus will be on you - and how to apply these strategies to your individual needs. I work with people from all backgrounds and with most disorders but I have a particular specialty in the anxiety and mood disorders, and I am a Panic Disorder and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Expert, having worked with over 400 patients with panic, and many more with related problems. With my Yale School of Medicine faculty position behind me, I am very well poised with my current full time practice to provide you with the psychotherapy that has helped so many others.
