I named my practice "The Journey Home", because life sometimes leaves us with a heartfelt longing for home....that safe place within us that settles our mind and calms our fears. I offer help to women experiencing depression, anxiety, abuse, grief, personality disorders, emotional problems and mental illness. After raising three children who are now navigating independence and owning a specialty restaurant, life experiences and the desire to give back to the community offering emotional support to women and girls prompted a career change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor I am able to provide that support. Depression, anxiety, grief, personality disorders, mental illness, abuse, emotional problems, etc., are not unique to women and girls.
