I am passionate about working with clients of all ages to gain understanding and feel confident in managing their mental health. I specialize in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Excoriation (skin picking) & Hair Pulling Disorders, Tic Disorders, and anxiety disorders including Separation Anxiety, Selective Mutism, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Specific Phobias. Often these issues lead to school avoidance in children and teens so I am well versed in working with schools to best support my clients. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to provide evidenced based treatments to my clients. I have received training in Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Schema Therapy. I draw on each as needed to best serve my clients' individual goals and needs. Change is often difficult, and it takes a great deal of strength to seek help. I strive to be supportive and empowering as my clients make these changes to reach their goals and live the life they want.
